Rules To Live By When Buying SWTOR Accounts

Hey there folks. Hope everybody out there is doing well and keeping warm.

Today I wanted to share some little tips and tricks that have helped me avoid some of the dangers of buying SWTOR account. While most of us are honest, law-abiding citizens, there are more than a few people out there willing to bleed us dry with scams.

This post is geared towards helping you avoid some of those places.

The first thing that I look for when I’m going to buy SWTOR Account For Sale is whether or not they have a money-back guarantee. People take these things for granted because every infomercial out there has one and they don’t use it. The thing is, in this arena it can protect you from all sorts of trouble. Places like Toonstorm who have one stand to lose the transaction if they do something stupid like bring a GM down on you, so they take extra precautions to keep that from happening.

Another thing I look at is outside reviews. It’s easy for a site to flood their own message boards with positive comments from fake people. The best thing to do is type the URL into Google and start scanning through the different posts that come up. Along with this, the best legit sites have a Bizrate rating. Toonstorm and a few others are known there with excellent ratings. It’s really good to get that third party info.

Avoid places that won’t take credit cards or paypal. While they claim it’s for your protection, it’s really an easy way to scam you. Once payments made via western union or money order are cashed, they have no incentive to live up to their end of the bargain. They’ll just get enough of them, close the site, and move on to another place to do it again.

Above all, when you find a really good place out there, don’t make a big deal out of it. Buying an account on it's cap level is suspicious, so is bragging to everyone in game about the buy. GMs and uptight players are always happy to pay you a visit about that buy. At the least your kinah will disappear and you’ll get a warning. But they might just decide to ban you altogether, so keep it all under your hat.

This Is The Way We Buy SWTOR Accounts

Hey there everyone! I was sifting through my email when I came across a question that really does beg to be answered.

“I was planning on buying a new account for my boyfriend for our anniversary, but I’m not sure what to look for when it comes to shopping for an account. The whole thing makes me really nervous because of all of the scams that are out there. I liked your review of Toonstorm, but it would be nice if I could check a few places out on my own. Do you have any tips or things to look for on a site before I buy?”

Well, as a matter of fact I do. Account shopping can be hazardous if you don’t know some of the signs of a scam. So here are a few of the tips that I’ve picked up over time that can help keep you safe.

1. Avoid places like eBay and Craigslist at all costs. They are great for lots and lots of things, but SWTOR accounts are not one of them. The worst scams that I’ve ever heard of have been conducted on those sites, and the bad guys were never caught. Keep to places with business ratings that you can verify.

2. Make your purchases with credit cards or paypal. That way, you might be able to get some of your money back if things go sour. Thirty bucks to stop a payment (what my card charges) is a lot cheaper than losing 200. Avoid using Western Union or those kinds of places, and NEVER use money orders. You may as well just hand your life savings over to a known felon.

3. Double-check the site. If you find a place that looks okay, type their url into google or yahoo and see just what comes up. Dig through the forums to find out if their claims are justified, and just what kind of problems people may have had with them.

4. The best thing that you can do for yourself is find a place with a money-back guarantee. Toonstorm is one of a few places that offer this little insurance policy. It’s just a matter of them caring enough about you and your new account to put their money on the line for it.

So, I hope that helps a little. We all want to keep these deals safe, so make sure you do your homework. Buy SWTOR Account safely! Cheers!
